Counted among Finland’s most in-demand and relevant DJs for nearly three decades, Orion began his career in the underground warehouse parties of Tampere in the 1990s. Around the turn of the millennium, he became one of the central figures in Rovaniemi’s active club scene before eventually settling in Helsinki in 2006.

To a wider audience, Orion is best known from YleX, where he has hosted shows for over 15 years. His weekly Friday night program on YleX remains Finland’s most listened-to club and electronic music radio show. In addition to his work as a DJ and radio host, Orion runs his own label Absence of Facts and has released music on top international imprints such as MORD, Mindtrip, H-Productions, and Suara.
