JV

JV’s music career is long and prolific. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Eevil Stöö, Kriso, Jodarok, and Gasellit. JV has composed and produced a significant portion of his own catalog and has regularly appeared on other artists’ albums, both as a rapper and a producer.

After a period of relative quiet, JV’s new album A.W.O.L. was released via Dödstil in February 2025. The album’s sound and production blend wholesome gospel samples, lo-fi drums, and JV’s blunt vocal presence into a minimalist masterpiece.

“This album is about a new life. This album is about passion for music. This album is also about loneliness and difficult emotions. This album tells where I’ve spent my time,” JV explains.
