Asla Jo

Asla Jo, who has quickly built a devoted fanbase, writes Finnish melancholic pop about sorrow, girl crushes, loneliness, and growing up. Signed to Kaiku Entertainment, the skilled singer-songwriter plays with musical interpretations of the Finnish soulscape, drawing from personal experiences.

The Ostrobothnia-born artist released their debut EP Kaikki alko siitä mihin me loputtiin in the fall of 2024. Three singles preceded the EP: “Poltan mun kotikaupungin,” “Dementia,” and “Ihan vähän vaan,” a collaboration with Edicti. In a short time, Asla Jo has already received significant acclaim, including recognition in Helsingin Sanomat, with their debut album Papin tytär getting four stars. The namesake tour has sold out nearly every single venue.
